The cleaning of the process gases from sinter plants complying with the TA Luft (Clean Air Act, Germany) is achieved via flat bag filters with conditioning rotors.

Toxic components like SO₂, PCDD/F, HCl, HF and heavy metals like Pb and Hg are separated safely by adding treatment agents such as lime and activated carbon.

The plant operates in bypass and, therefore, can be installed during operation of the sinter plant and operated independently from it.
